About
About Tectonic Finance
Tectonic Finance is a decentralised money market on the Cronos blockchain, where users supply crypto to earn interest and borrow against their collateral. This site is the project's knowledge base: a clear, no-hype place to understand how the protocol, the TONIC token and the risks actually work.
What you'll find here
Everything on this site is written to be read, not skimmed past. The guides cover the full protocol — how lending works, supplying, borrowing, liquidations, the TONIC token and xTONIC governance — alongside a glossary and a detailed FAQ.
The design is deliberately plain and the language free of marketing spin, because lending, borrowing and the risks attached deserve a calm, honest treatment.
How we write
- Accuracy first. Mechanics and figures are drawn from the protocol's own documentation and reputable public sources. Where numbers change over time (rates, parameters, circulating supply), we say so and point to live data.
- Risk stated plainly. Every relevant page notes the downside, not just the upside. DeFi can lose you money.
- No price predictions, no advice. Nothing here is financial, investment, legal or tax advice.
